Keeping a car on the road can be tough, especially with tax, MOT and insurance to think about. Then an unexpected bill arrives right when you don’t need it.
What do you do? Take out a payday loan with a huge interest rate? Borrow from family? Leave the car until next payday? It lets you spread the cost of your repair bill over four monthly payments, softening the blow and keeping you on the road.
Why Use Payment Assist?
We already pay for lots of things monthly, and the motor trade has been slow to catch up. Insurance has been available monthly for years, and car tax can now be spread over 12 months too. So why not spread the cost of your car repairs as well?
You might be thinking this will cost a fortune in interest. It won’t, and there are no fees either. You pay 25% of the cost on the day, and the remaining three monthly payments are taken by direct debit. Spreading the cost interest-free means you don’t need a high-interest loan. You just sign the paperwork at the garage and you’re back on the road.

Who Qualifies for Payment Assist?
Anyone aged 18 or over can apply for Payment Assist. There’s no credit check for amounts under £1,000. Amounts over £1,000 need a credit check.
